Billing and Receipting Administrator
14 months fixed term

A fantastic opportunity has become available working in the Property team of Te Tumu Paeroa (the new Māori Trustee) in Wellington. Te Tumu Paeroa is the leading independent trustee organisation whose purpose is to protect and grow Māori land and assets.
As our accounts whizz, your main focus will be to ensure that all billing and accounts receivable transactions are processed in a timely and efﬁcient manner in order to meet stringent reporting requirements. Reporting to the Business Manager Property, and working closely with a great little team that will teach you and develop you – you can be sure this is a great role for your development.
This full-time, fixed term role of 14 months would be a great stepping stone to a recent accounting graduate willing to put their knowledge to work, someone with a drive to learn more about the accounting and property world, and someone with some or intermediate knowledge of accounting. The role would see you working with our electronic system, recording accounts receivable transactions, preparing reports and identifying issues.

Exceptional data entry skills, a high level of accuracy and excellent numerical skills.
You’ll be working in an open plan office, so good relationship skills, the ability to work unsupervised, excellent communication (both verbal and written), and a keen eye for detail are key.
