Meetings give owners a chance to discuss the latest reports and information about their land, and to be part of decision-making.
Te Tumu Paeroa holds around 500 meetings with owners and their representatives each year. Reports, options, plans and issues for discussion and decision are presented at these meetings. Meetings are one way owners can stay up-to-date with everything that is happening with their land and assets.
We aim to hold a meeting for most blocks every three to five years.
Meetings are generally held where the greatest number of owners have the opportunity to participate - this may be near the land, or in some cases in cities where many owners live.
If you are an owner in a land block administered by the Māori Trustee, and we have your contact details, you will be notified about a meeting at least two weeks in advance.
You can also see what meetings are coming up in the Owners’ Meeting schedule.
