How we manage your money
The income from your land is managed by a specialist investments team at Te Tumu Paeroa. The income goes into an account called the "Common Fund".
Our specialist team then manages the funds held in the Common Fund, to achieve the best “risk-adjusted return” for owners. A risk-adjusted return is a measurement of the return on an investment relative to its risk. At the end of each month, any owner with money in their client account will get a share of the income generated in the Common Fund.
Details of the Common Fund
Around 130,000 client and trust accounts are held in the Common Fund. As of 31 March 2016, the Common Fund held $104 million of client funds.
