He Aituā Titewhai Harawira

Māori Trustee, Dr Charlotte Severne (Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Tūwharetoa) and kaimahi of Te Tumu Paeroa are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Titewhai Harawira.

Takoto!

Māori Trustee, Dr Charlotte Severne (Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Tūwharetoa) and kaimahi of Te Tumu Paeroa are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Titewhai Harawira.

Titewhai will be remembered as a powerful force against injustice, and leading change for Māori and in particular wāhine Māori.

She devoted her life to fighting for the rights of Māori, and leaves an incredible legacy for future generations.

The loss of Titewhai will be felt deeply across Aotearoa and Māoridom, but she will be remembered for her courage and determination.

Our thoughts are with her whānau, iwi, hapū and uri as they mourn her loss.

Moe mai rā e Titewhai
